Description
McIntosh Reciprocating Engine Plant, MREP, is building a 6 engine 120 MW plant to support the electrical systems and needs of the community. Lakeland Electric is requesting a supply of ethynylene glycol with nitrite free corrosion inhibitors for filling the cooling water system for the 6 engines and gas skid heating circuit located at the McIntosh Power Plant. This glycol will be supplied for freeze and corrosion protection in their systems after system flushes are complete prior to placing the units into service.
