– Vendor needs to provide data platform. – The concept of a national law enforcement calls for service (CFS) data platform is to establish a uniform, publicly available, event–based collection of law enforcement CFS captured in computer–aided dispatch (CAD) systems.– Implement a standardized, event–based platform to record statistical data on all law enforcement CFS, including criminal and non–criminal police engagement, by utilizing automated data ingestion from CAD systems.– Identify the critical data elements for inclusion in CAD software that support the requirements of the CFS data platform.– Equip law enforcement agencies with near real–time information and analytic tools that support data–informed decision making for enhanced preparedness and response to criminal and non–criminal CFS events.– Provide actionable intelligence to make evidence–based decisions and to justify department needs and resources.– The CFS data platform will be a national collection of CAD data.– Disseminate national information on law enforcement workload and response.
