(1) Vendor needs to provide on–call construction legal services on an as–needed basis to the government authority located in San Diego, CA. – Provide legal services to support construction–related matters, including construction claims, contract and solicitation development and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.  – Provide legal, technical, and strategic support related to construction claims arising under SANDAG construction contracts.– Provide risk analysis and recommend strategies for claim pursuit or defense.– Advise on negotiation position, settlement options, and potential litigation exposure.– Advise and assist agency in preparing, analyzing, negotiating and resolving claims in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and contract requirements.– Advise and assist with issues relating to tender of claims for indemnity, construction guarantee and bond payments.– Represent agency in mediation, arbitration, and litigation involving construction defects, construction claims, stop notices, and false claims. – Advise and assist staff on solicitation materials, including preparation of invitation for bid documents and related contracts.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than July 15, 2026. (3) The contract period will be for five years.
