Request for Qualifications Architectural/Engineering Services for the Rio Cosumnes Correctional Center (RCCC), The Main Jail 300 West Pod JPS Conversion, and Split Outdoor Recreation Area Projects

The County of Sacramento ("County") is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from local qualified Architectural consulting firms to provide building design and construction support services for three County of Sacramento correctional facility projects in the Rio Cosumnes Correctional Center in Elk Grove and the Main Jail in Downtown Sacramento. All personnel accessing these sites must comply with security requirements set forth by each facility. Qualified consultants should be able to demonstrate in the SOQ, experience with physical improvements of fully operational detention facilities, familiarity with the California Building Code requirements specifically pertaining to detention facilities, such as fire and life safety and accessibility; experience leading multi-disciplinary building design teams in the preparation of construction plans and specifications for a public bid process.
