The City of Rancho Cordova, Department Name Department is soliciting proposals from qualified Food Recovery Organizations and Services to provide Basic Project Description to improve compliance with SB 1383 edible food recovery requirements, including expanding edible food recovery capacity in the City of Rancho Cordova. Specifically, proposers will identify covered commercial edible food generators as identified in SB 1383, provide outreach and training, conduct annual inspections, and arrange for recovered food to be distributed to those in need.
