2024 Pavement Overlay and Slurry Program (CI 5594 and MI 2610)

The scope of work is to provide specialized pavement engineering and design services, and professional support services during the bid and construction phases of the 2024 Pavement Overlay and Resurfacing (CI 5594) and Slurry Program (MI 2610). Based on the preliminary evaluation, the project may consist of approx. 5.1 miles of arterial overlay, approx. 9.4 miles of residential Thin Maintenance overlay (TMO), approx. 5.6 miles of Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP) micro-surfacing, and approx. 34.5 miles of Type II - Rubberized Emulsion Aggregate Slurry (REAS). The City is in the of process finalizing the preliminary design work, and will compile the final plans, specifications, and estimate for the project. The consultant will provide services in support of the City staff as outlined in the scope of work. The 2024 Pavement Overlay (CI 5594) and Slurry Program (MI 2610) will bid separately. Therefore, two construction contracts will be issued. Construction contracts are expected to bid and be awarded in Winter 2024 . The ideal consultant will have at least 10 years of project experience with municipal agencies working on both ARHM overlay, TMO, Micro-Surfacing and Slurry Seal work described herein.
