(1) Vendor needs to provide various aviation communication devices maintenance and repair services to the government authority located in Santa Ana, CA. – Provide maintenance and repair of various aviation communications devices for helicopters and fixed wing aircraft. – These services are essential to ensure the continuous and reliable operation of communication systems that support aviation activities within the agency. • Provide maintenance and repair services for the following types of aviation communications devices:– VHF/UHF Radios– Transponders– Navigation Aids– Ground Communication Systems– Emergency Locator Transmitters (ELTS)– Satellite Communications Systems• Service requirements:– Inspections and testing: Conduct regular inspections and functional tests of all communication devices to ensure they are operating correctly and within specified parameters.– Preventative maintenance: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including cleaning, calibration, software updates, and component replacements as needed.– Repairs: Diagnose and repair any malfunctions or failures in the communications devices, this includes replacing defective parts, reconfiguring settings, and ensuring the device is restored to full operational status.– Emergency services: Provide emergency repair services on a 24/7 basis to address any critical failures that may impact aviation operations.– Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities, including inspection reports, maintenance logs, and repair documentation.– Training: Provide training to agency personnel on the proper use and basic troubleshooting of the communication devices.
