MEDI-8199 - USA (Surry, Virginia) - Emergency Medical Services - Deadline October 29,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide emergency medical services to the government authority located in Surry, VA.– Provider shall respond to all emergency, non–emergency, mutual aid calls for service, (and collect all information for billing the EMS calls) by supplying contract EMS providers.– Currently the EMS agency needs one crew 24 hours a day, seven days per week and a second crew 12 hours a day from 8am–8pm Monday–Friday.– Provider shall operate under the agency’s license at the direction of the medical director.– Provider shall complete electronic and enter data into the computer program’s immediately following each call.– Providers agree that the agency may instruct the EMS staff of the company awarded the contract to perform maintenance on the equipment and cleanup of the building, and that the Provider shall instruct its employees to comply with such reasonable instructions, with the understanding that this does not make the agency the supervisor of the employees.– Provide staff to assist with the drug box management program and provided the following services:– Comprehensive inventory management of all drug boxes and controlled medications.– Inventory reconciliations and documentation.– Medication ordering recommendations based on inventory levels, utilization, and expiration dates.– Organization and maintenance of all drug box inventory records.– Daily oversight and administration of the drug box program to ensure accountability, compliance, and operational readiness.(2) The contract period will be for two years.
