Requests bids to provide and install 10 managed 48 port network switches, 5 managed 48 port Power over Ethernet (PoE) switches, 55 WiFi 7 wireless access points. All network cabling has already been run. The bid must include connecting every switch to the network by fiber, installing the access points at the existing cable locations, configuring the equipment, and testing the completed system. New cable runs are not part of this request. Required equipment 10 Standard network switches with 48 RJ45 ports supporting 1 Gbps; at least four 10 Gbps SFP+ uplink ports 5 PoE network switch with 48 RJ45 ports supporting 1 Gbps and 2.5 Gbps; at least eight ports also supporting 5 Gbps; at least four 10 Gbps SFP+ uplink ports 55 Wireless access points with WiFi 7 supporting 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz operation; compatible with the proposed PoE switches All 5 PoE switches must support IEEE 802.3at PoE+ on all 48 RJ45 ports. At least eight ports per switch must support IEEE 802.3bt with 60 watts available per port. Each PoE switch must have an available power budget of at least 1,100 watts. Bidders must state the total PoE budget and any limits on simultaneous port power use. All switches must be rack mountable and may include mounting hardware (If item is not compatible). Switches must support VLANs, link aggregation, spanning tree, 802.1X authentication, and secure remote management. Installation and fiber connections The bid must include all compatible fiber transceivers and patch cords needed to connect each of the 15 switches to the existing fiber network. The bidder must verify the existing fiber type, connector type, available strands, and connection points, and identify any assumptions or incompatibilities in the bid. Installation must include mounting and connecting the switches and access points; configuring switch uplinks, PoE, and wireless settings in coordination with the organization; and testing fiber connections, access point operation, and network connectivity. The bidder must provide the organization with the final configuration information and test results. Bid response requirements Provide technical data sheets, warranty terms, estimated delivery and installation schedules. Identify all required licenses or subscriptions and explain how the proposed switches will supply the Ethernet speed and PoE power needed for the 55 access points. Provide separate pricing for the standard switches, PoE switches, access points, fiber transceivers and patch cords, installation, shipping, and required licenses or subscriptions. Include a five year total cost showing any recurring fees. State any exceptions to these requirements. Current system is Cisco C9200 and Meraki MR46. We are open to new systems. We prefer a system that has a Graphic user interface for the switches.
