(1) Vendor needs to provide radio frequency identification solutions.– Provide solution that interfaces with the current jail management software that incorporates radio frequency identification technology in the tracking, identification, documentation.– Provide comprehensive tracking capabilities, efficient data management, and robust security features.– Reduce the risk of damaged, lost, altered or destroyed documentation.– Enhance efficiency by improving inmate identification, and the documentation of inmate movement, supplies issued, services provided, headcounts, meals, and statistical reporting.– Reduce the effort on jail staff to perform inmate movement documentation. This will free up time for staff to perform other tasks.– Leverage existing technologies and resources of Jail Services as much as possible.– Reduce risk of release errors.– Inmate identification:– Available to a corrections officer either by scanning radio frequency identification solutions device.– Inmate movement:– the ability to capture in real–time or near real–time the movement of an individual or a group of individuals from one location to another either by scanning radio frequency identification solutions device.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 13, 2026.(3) Pre–bid meeting will be held on October 9, 2026.
