Jackson County Intermediate School District, on behalf of Northwest Community Schools is soliciting bids to upgrade the internal connections between the Districts network wiring closets, as well as upgrade a quantity of network cabinets. The District requests proposals for the installation, testing, and acceptance of the Telecommunications Distribution System described in the attached RFP specifications and drawings by interested persons. Prices quoted shall be all-inclusive and represent complete installation at the sites shown on the RFP drawings and specifications. Any addendums that are issued will be on the District web page and 470. The Vendor shall be responsible for all parts, labor, and all other associated apparatus necessary to completely install, test, and turnover for acceptance to the Customer the Telecommunications Distribution System detailed herein. The buildings that the district is looking for cabling in are as follows: Northwest Elementary School - 3757 Lansing Avenue Jackson MI 49202 Northwest Middle School - 6700 Rives Junction Road Jackson MI 49201 Northwest High School - 4200 Van Horn Road Jackson MI 49201 Timeline: 1. Intent To Bid Form Deadline - October 22, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. 2. Required Vendor Site Visit - October 27, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. 3. RFP Technical Questions Deadline November 6, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. 4. Proposal Due Date and bid opening November 20, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. 5.
