(1) Vendor needs to provide cold case detective service to the government authority located in San Mateo, CA. – Provide professional cold case investigative services.– Support the agency’s efforts to review, evaluate, and advance unresolved criminal investigations through comprehensive case analysis, investigative follow–up, and the application of current investigative methods and resources.• Contracted cold case detective services may include the following:– Review, triage, and organize all open and/or unsolved agency homicide cases.– Review previously written crime reports, associated documentation and physical evidence.– Examine physical evidence.– Accommodate and facilitate interviews and/or re–interviews of witnesses and other persons associated with or pertinent to cases.– Prepare written reports documenting interview and supplemental investigation.– Collect, document, and process additional evidence associated with cases(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than August 3, 2026.
