TELCOM-2987 - USA (Millington, Tennessee) - Telecommunications Support Services - Deadline August 31,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide telecommunications support services to the government authority located in Millington, TN. – Provide senior telecommunications technician and administrative support services for agency.• Technician:– Run inside fiber optic, and/or copper cable and associated cable equipment installations for voice, video and/or data circuits to include cross–connects.– Issue telecommunications equipment to customers by completing a hand receipt for the customer or designated representative to sign.– Direct and lead preparation of engineering plans and site cable installations.– Prepare site installation drawings and test reports.– Install, relocate, and/or remove telephone instruments and associated equipment.– Locate, identify and tag inside telecommunications cabling.– Maintain all telecommunications records identifying cable pairs, ports and other necessary information to maintain the location of telecommunication lines and instruments.• Administrative:– Update the telecommunications database within 2 days when personnel report to the command.– Process personnel leaving the command by updating the database, changing the status of lines and initiate paperwork to disconnect the line when required.– Process telecommunications requests received by E–mail, memorandum, or telephone by providing the information to the technician or forwarding the information to the agency or the designated contractor for resolution.– Update the database when any change in user information, telephone locations, or telephone numbers takes place.– Create, maintain, and update the database for all telecommunications equipment to include cellular phones and headsets.– Bar–code telecommunications equipment and conduct inventory at least annually.(2) This bid is set–aside for SBA Certified Women–Owned Small Business.
