San Mateo County Aging and Adult Services Hotel RFP

San Mateo County Aging and Adult Services is seeking hotel and/or motel contractor(s) within San Mateo County to provide room services for the clients it serves for various programs. Clients may have various issues including but not limited to mental health issues, COVID-19 related illnesses, behavioral issues, physical disabilities, etc. Majority of clients are elderly and have functioning cognitive capacity. County's social workers can assist with any issues that may arise. On rare occasions, family members may accompany the client during the hotel stay. On average, County needs five to six rooms per month. Hotel/motel stay range from a few days to up to one month or a little over one month. Funding is for up to three years between $200,000-$400,000. County may choose more than 1 contractor to provide services. The County’s standard contract template has been included as Appendix B to this solicitation. The awarded contractor will be expected to sign an agreement prepared by the County using this template. Please ensure that your firm has completed legal review of these contract terms. If your firm wishes to request exceptions to these standard terms, submit a Contract Exceptions Request by the Deadline for Questions, Comments and Contract Exceptions listed in the Solicitation Schedule. The County will consider Contract Exceptions Requests but reserves the right to reject requested modifications to its standard terms.
