Electric On-Call Services

Description of Services - Electric On-Call Services New Braunfels Utilities (“NBU”), a municipally-owned utility, invites responses to this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) from qualified firms interested in providing overhead and underground electric on-call services (the “Services”), on an as needed basis, to NBU’s 12,470/7200-volt electric system (the “Project”). NBU’s electric system comprises a service area of approximately 160 square miles, and serves approximately 65,000 residential, commercial, and industrial electric meters. The electric system includes 619 miles of overhead distribution line, 285 miles of underground distribution line, 11 substation/metering points on the transmission system, and other buildings, equipment, stores, and related facilities.
