Management and Administration of Victim Support Services Network (VSSN)

newhavenct / Community Services Administration

Description

The City of New Haven is committed to supporting victims of violence and strengthening the coordination of services available to individuals and families impacted. Survivors of violence often face complex and overlapping needs, including mental health support, relocation assistance, medical follow up, and economic stabilization. Navigating these services can be challenging without coordinated systems and trusted referral pathways. To address these challenges, the City established the Victim Support Service Network (VSSN) in 2023, a collaborative initiative designed to connect victims of violence with appropriate services through coordinated referrals, case management, and partnership among local providers.
