Description

Provide towing service for the City of Santa Monica Department of Transportation’s (SMDOT’s) Big Blue Bus fleet of transit coaches and City of Santa Monica Fire Department (SMFD) apparatus. SMDOT’s fleet of transit buses consists of 30-foot, 40-foot, and 60-foot compressed natural gas (CNG) buses, and 35-foot and 40-foot battery electric buses (BEBs). In the event that an electric bus would need to be towed a mechanic supervisor would dispatch a qualified technician to the scene.
