Specific Procurement Notice Request for Bids Works (Single Stage One Envelope Bidding Process) Employer: Sindh Irrigation and Drainage Authority Project: Sindh Water & Agriculture Transformation (SWAT) Project Contract title: Canal Modernization & Rehabilitation Works of Khorwah Distry, under the Sindh Water and Agriculture Transformation (SWAT) Project Country: The Islamic Republic of Pakistan Loan No. IDA Credit No. 72550-PK RFB No: PK-SIDA-572728-CW-RFB Issued on: 12th October, 2026 1.The Islamic Republic of Pakistan has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Sindh Water & Agriculture Transformation (SWAT) Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Canal Modernization & Rehabilitation Works of Khorwah Distry, under the Sindh Water and Agriculture Transformation (SWAT) Project. 2.The Sindh Irrigation and Drainage Authority (SIDA) now invite sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the “Canal Modernization & Rehabilitation Works of Khorwah Distry, under the Sindh Water and Agriculture Transformation (SWAT) Project” located in Badin District in Sindh Province, Pakistan. 3.Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing”, November, 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. 4.The Bidding document in English may be purchased by interested, eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of PKR 25,000/-.
