Description
The City of Portland (“City”) seeks an experienced performing arts venue operator to manage and operate Portland'5 Centers for the Arts (Portland’5), consisting of five performing arts venues in downtown Portland. The Portland’5 properties are owned by the City and currently managed and operated by Metro (regional government). On July 1, 2027, Metro will cease being the managing operator of these venues. The City is interested in securing a new single operator that will assume venue management and operating responsibilities for all five theaters as of July 1, 2027. Proposer(s) must demonstrate experience and success managing similar performing art venues (simultaneously), ability to work with municipal or other governmental entities, positive experience with labor organizations, and quality references, as detailed in the Qualifications & Experience section of this RFP.
