Vehicle location should be visible for both dispatch and the public.• Automatic GPS refresh rate of vehicle data of one to five seconds (1–5 seconds)▪ All cloud software hosting charges must be included in the pricing. agency already supports mobile data charges for AVL routers and owns mobile numbers for each vehicle.• Software must support historical tracking and playback features.• Software must have the ability for agency to manage and implement routes changes, stop revisions and real–time route deviations.– Mobile application and desktop software features• Mobile applications must be compatible with industry standard operating systems like Apple iOS and Android.• Live bus tracking must be available for public users. • Riders must be able to trip plan for multiple modes such as bus, coach, paratransit and on–demand services.• Riders must be able to opt–in for text messaging alerts or automated phone alerts regarding service changes or weather updates as sent by dispatch.– Mobile Data Interface for Operators All Services• The terminal interface can be either a mobile data terminal or tablet.• Single point driver log–in selects duty and identifies the operator.• Pre–trip and post trip bus inspection reporting should be part of the log routine.• Display should show route directions and next stop predictions. Real–time traffic updates are preferred.(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than August 25,2026.
