The Medical Director is a contractor who reports directly to the Deputy Director of Finance for Risk Management. The Department's objectives for this project include but are not limited to the following: improving the quality of medical care delivered to injured City employees, improving the outcome of medical treatments typically used for medical conditions of injured workers and conducting service-connected disability determinations for medical pension reviews for those considered for service-connected disability pensions.
