(1) Vendor needs to provide removal, stabilization, assessment and restoration service to the government authority located in Ellsworth, ME.• Hall without causing unnecessary damage to the historic wood, carved elements, or building.• Document the existing condition, configuration, components, connections, and deterioration of the Seal before and during removal.• Preserve and properly identify loose, detached, broken, or previously repaired components• Transport and store the Seal in a secure, climate–monitored environment that allows gradual moisture equilibration and prevents additional deterioration.• Develop a conservation and restoration treatment plan based upon the actual condition of the Seal.• Reinstall the restored Seal using appropriate materials, methods, and anchoring systems.(2) The contract period will be for one year.
