• Review existing policies, procedures, systems (digital and physical), and prior audits.• Develop stakeholder map, prepare pre–reading/workshop materials, and plan stakeholder engagement to capture digitisation needs.• Prepare Project Charter/Inception Report (scope, governance, timelines, risks) to define structured governance, timelines, risk management, and digitisation objectives.• Perform IG maturity and compliance assessment (privacy, security, records, lifecycle) including digitisation levels, gaps, risks, and opportunities.• Map information landscape and complete high–level gap analysis, including digital and physical assets.• Produce Current State Assessment Report, including maturity assessment (people, process, technology, compliance) and a consolidated risk & opportunities register.– Strategy Development• Draft the IG Vision, Principles, Operating Model and Framework, integrating digitisation considerations.• Define lifecycle controls and the policies/standards roadmap, including digital information management.• Define technology enablement considerations, digitisation initiatives, and training & change plan.• Define KPIs and a maturity roadmap.• Develop Policy Framework Outline (incl. retention & disposal, classification/taxonomy, metadata model, privacy & security controls) ensuring compliance and digitisation integration.– Implementation Roadmap• Develop a detailed three–year phased roadmap for operationalising the IG Strategy, including prioritised actions, timelines, resource requirements, responsible units, monitoring mechanisms, and digitisation initiatives. Include a high–level business case (benefits, dependencies, resources) to ensure effective and sustainable implementation.
