(1) Vendor needs to provide structured cabling and cabinet upgrade service to the government authority located in Jackson, MI. – To upgrade the internal connections between the district’s network wiring closets, as well as upgrade a quantity of network cabinets.– This infrastructure upgrade will consist of the replacement of existing multi–mode fiber optic cable, and in some cases copper cabling, with armored single–mode fiber and/or the addition of new single–mode fiber runs.– For procurement, mounting, and migration of existing cabling and/or equipment from the existing rack/cabinet to the new unit.– must carefully unmount the existing patch panels from the old rack, support the weight of the attached cable bundles to prevent tension, and securely remount the panels in the designated spaces of the new cabinet.– Only hook–and–loop fasteners are permitted for bundling and securing cables. – The use of plastic zip–ties is strictly prohibited on all network data cabling.– Cable bundles leading to the migrated patch panels must be neatly combed, dressed, and routed through cable managers.(2) A pre–bid meeting will be held on October 27, 2026.(3) All questions must be submitted no later than November 6, 2026.
