This Request for Information (RFI) is intended to notify local vendors of the City’s intent to utilize other government entities’ contract. This is not an invitation to submit a bid or quote. If no local vendor responds to the RFI, the Procurement Services Department will proceed with utilizing the referenced contract. Local vendor is defined as businesses located in South Lake County, preferably located within the City limits. This notice will be posted for seven (7) business days. (a) Department: Public Services (b) Company Information: Container Systems & Equipment Company, Inc. and Petersen Industries (c) Contract Number and Title: FSA22-VEH20.0 Spec# 89 and Spec# 145 (d) Length of Contract: October 1, 2022 - September 31, 2023 (e) Product or Service Provided: Crane Carrier Low Entry Cab and Freightliner M2 106 (f) Estimated Annual Expenditure: $577,206 If you’re a local vendor, please contact the Procurement Services Director by email or by mail prior to the “Notice End Date” indicated above to advise whether your company can provide any of the product or service mentioned above. Prospective local vendor respondents are requested to provide information regarding their ability to provide the product or serve described. Respondents are not to provide pricing. All responses will be evaluated by the Procurement Services Department and the Department requesting the product or service which will be the sole determining power in establishing the approved equal status of the commodity offered by the respondent.
