EXTRA-77002 - USA (San Rafael, California) - Behavioral Health Services Act Peer Respite Program Service - Deadline October 30,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide behavioral health services act peer respite program service to the government authority located in San Rafael, CA. – The Peer Respite Program will be short–term, behavioral health recovery program for Marin County adults. This program will be peer–led, offering an alternative to more intensive behavioral health services, such as a Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) or inpatient hospitalization. The program will be located in an unlocked, homelike setting, with 24/7 staffing, robust recovery supports, and connection to agency services.– The Peer Respite Program will have the capacity to serve at least 5 individuals and no more than 12 individuals at any one time, with serious mental illnesses, serious substance use disorders, or co–occurring serious mental illnesses and substance use disorders.– The Peer Respite Program will provide key program components and support services to clients, including but not limited to:• Individual and group peer support and education, provided by Certified Peer Support Specialists as a Medi–Cal billable service• Recovery and support groups• Meditation, mindfulness, and/or other somatic healing practices• Art, music, and movement groups• Recreational activities• Connection to daytime activities such as the Enterprise Resource Center (ERC) and Empowerment Clubhouse, with transportation facilitated through assistance with public transit and a Peer Respite Program vehicle(2) All the questions had been submitted on September 25, 2026.(3) Pre–bid meeting will be held on October 5, 2026.
