Property Management Services

The County of San Mateo is in need of commercial property management services for a newly acquired building. The building has existing tenants. The County would like to engage the services of a commercial property firm to manage the tenants in the building. The Contractor will provide an experienced commercial property manager. The Property Manager will provide property management services independently but in communication with County staff. The Contractor and Property Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of property management, including maintenance, repairs, inspections, and tenant improvements, to ensure safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing facilities for County staff and the public that will include but is not limited to: Property Maintenance Tenant Relations Financial Management Lease Administration Tenant Improvements Other property management services on an as-needed basis At this time, services are only required at 1 site, however the County may use this contract for additional buildings on an as-needed basis. This contract will be for a minimum of 5 years, with the option to extend up to a 10 year term. The County of San Mateo invites qualified firms with experienced Property Managers to submit proposals for the provision of Property Management Services. Interested firms must review and adhere to the detailed specifications, service requirements, and delivery requirements outlined in this scope of work. The successful firm will be selected based on its qualifications, experience, references, and proposed approach to managing the county-owned properties.
