Description?
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.103-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to DOXIMITY INC. to provide Amion software subscription and technical support. Amion software is a healthcare scheduling platform designed for hospitals and healthcare systems to manage and share on-call and shift schedules for physicians and other medical staff. It provides real-time updates so changes to the schedules are immediately reflected and accessible to relevant staff. It indirectly helps to align scheduling with Veteran-centered care priorities such as specialty, urgent or mental health coverage enabling VA hospitals to mobilize providers specifically in urgent care scenarios such as stroke, heart attack, or urgent surgeries. The contractor shall provide technical support for all subscriptions purchased. All technical support shall be provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. All technical support shall include but not be limited to major product and technology releases, technical support, updates, fixes, security alerts, data fixes, and critical patch updates, upgrade scripts, tax, legal, and regulatory updates and certification with most existing third-party products/versions. Additionally, support will include the transfer of data in existing non-Amion programs without significant impact or delays of use. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement no later than July 22, 2026, at 1:00 PM EST. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. If after July 22, 2026, at 1:00 PM EST, no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, Department of Veterans Affairs shall solicit and award solely to DOXIMITY INC. The point of contact for this action is Phillip Kang, Contract Specialist, who can be reached at Phillip.kang@va.gov. The Government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed- price contract. A determination to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition.
