Description

DESCRIPTION: This is a pre-solicitation notice only. The solicitation is not available as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Ankara, Türkiye, intends to post the solicitation on SAM.gov when it is available. This notice does not constitute a request for quotations and does not obligate the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The U.S. Embassy in Ankara, Türkiye, has a requirement for catering services to support the Independence Day Reception on 9 September 2026, from 14:00 to 17:00. The requirement is for catering services to meet the Government's salient characteristics and is not restricted to a specific vendor, brand name, or service provider. Offerors are encouraged to propose catering services that are freshly prepared, compliant with applicable Turkish food safety and health regulations, and sufficient to accommodate the expected number of guests for the duration of the reception. All responsible sources may submit a quotation in response to the RFQ when it is issued; all timely quotations received in accordance with the RFQ will be considered by the Government. The RFQ will state the quotation due date, delivery schedule, evaluation factors, and all terms and conditions. The Government anticipates award of a firm-fixed-price purchase order/contract to the responsible quoter whose quotation conforms to the RFQ and is lowest priced technically acceptable. The Government may make award based on initial quotations without requesting quotation revisions.
