Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is seeking to identify sources capable of providing the following materials: Electric Plug Connector, NSN 01-694-1500 Electric Plug Connector, NSN 01-694-1498 Bulkhead Connector, NSN 01-694-1502 Bulkhead Connector, NSN 01-694-1499 To the best of the Government’s knowledge, only the following sources are approved by Navsea to provide this material: Teledyne Ametek Ocean Design Inc Sea Con/Bratner & Associates TE Connectivity Cooper Interconnect DCX Choi Enterprises Inc. NewVac, LLC BIRNS Inc. L-3 Unidyne Ducommun Texas Research Institute Austin, Inc. Thermal Spray & Machine Inc. A&A Company Inc. This sources sought notice is a market research tool being utilized to identify potential and eligible firms capable of providing these materials prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP). As such, all interested parties are encouraged to respond. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
