LOCKHEED MARTIN - Synopsis

Award of a contract on a sole source basis to Lockheed Martin Corporation doing business as Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems, for provision of Engineering Services to support multiple ship classes. The first ship class will be the Arleigh Burke Class Guided Missile Destroyer; hereafter, known in this document as DDG-51, the second ship class will be the Lockheed Martin produced variant of the Littoral Combat Ship; hereafter, known in this document as Freedom variant and the third ship class is the America Class Amphibious Assault ship; hereafter, known in this document as LHA-8AF. The primary focus of this contract is for supporting the Control Systems onboard the DDG-51 Machinery Control System (MCS) and Engine Controllers (EC), Freedom variant Machinery Plant Control and Monitoring System (MPCMS) along with the LHA-8AF MCS and EC.
