SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE SAN JUAN ISLANDS NWR POLLINATOR MONITORING This is a Sources Sought Notice issued by the United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) for market research purposes only. This notice is not a solicitation, request for proposal, request for quotation, or invitation for bid. The purpose of this notice is to identify potential sources capable of providing pollinator monitoring services for the San Juan Islands National Wildlife Refuge. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is seeking information from qualified firms with the capability and experience necessary to perform pollinator monitoring services at the San Juan Islands National Wildlife Refuge. The Government is conducting market research to determine whether there are responsible sources other than the incumbent contractor capable of meeting the agency's requirements. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541620, Environmental Consulting Services, with a corresponding size standard of $19 million. The associated Product Service Code (PSC) is B520, Special Studies/Analysis – Grazing/Range. Interested firms shall submit a capability statement demonstrating their ability to perform the required services. Capability statements should include: Company name and address. Unique Entity Identifier (UEI). Business size and socioeconomic status. Relevant experience performing similar pollinator monitoring, ecological monitoring, habitat assessment, or related environmental consulting services. Description of personnel qualifications and technical expertise. Examples of previous projects of similar scope and complexity. Any additional information demonstrating the firm's capability to successfully perform this requirement. Responses shall be concise and limited to information relevant to determining the firm's capability. Submission of a capability statement is voluntary and will not be compensated by the Government. Capability statements shall be submitted via email to: Marshall Richard Contracting Specialist Email: marshall_richard@ios.doi.gov Responses are due no later than 1000 PM Eastern Time on June 08, 2026. The Government will use the information received solely for market research purposes and to determine whether adequate competition exists. Information received may be used to support the Government's acquisition planning and decision-making process. A determination not to compete a future requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, award a contract, or otherwise pay for information submitted in response to this notice. All interested vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) and maintain current and accurate registration information, including UEI, TIN, EFT, address, and points of contact.
