Requiring Office: USFS Washington Office - Fleet NAICS: 336211 Motor Vehicle Body Manufacturing. PSC: 4210 Fire Fighting Equipment Title: 2026 Tactical Water Tenders The U. S. Forest Service (USFS) is soliciting a proposal from qualified vendors for three (3) Tactical Water Tenders, body only configuration, to be installed on Government-furnished 4X2 cab and chassis. Scope includes chassis modifications and preparation, installation of the body, fire pump, 1,500-gallon water tank, warning lights, required graphics package, and all components necessary to deliver a complete operational unit. Apparatus must meet Forest Service national standard specifications, including compliance with NFPA 1900 unless otherwise specified. Proposal shall include delivery of each unit and on-site familiarization training. Vendors shall demonstrate their capability to produce apparatus meeting the requirements of the USFS, summarized in executive form.
