Notice of Intent to Sole Source for UBM Engine Unit

NAVSUP FLC Yokosuka site Okinawa, intends to award a firm-fixed-price, sole-source contract to MIC Industries Inc. for the procurement of an Ultimate Building Machine (UBM) engine unit. This requirement includes specialized installation, calibration, and operational training. This procurement is conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals, and a formal solicitation will not be issued. This announcement is for informational purposes only. However, responsible sources may submit a capability statement for consideration.
