Q: Generator Monitoring System (CLIN 0005): The PWS states the current monitoring system is to be assessed, with a proposal for replacement or upgrade provided as part of the contractor's assessment prior to PM beginning. Can the Government confirm whether it intends for the contractor to furnish and install a new monitoring system, or to maintain/service the existing system? If a system is currently installed, can the Government identify the make/vendor so offerors can scope accurately? A: Intent is to maintain/service current system and or upgrade current system if upgrades are available or needed, not replace with any new system. Q: Monitoring system pricing: Should the cost of any replacement/upgrade monitoring system (including hardware and any multi-year monitoring/communication service) be priced as a separate CLIN/line item, or included within the maintenance CLINs?
