Description

Q & A RFQ 36C24926Q0173 Q: Inquiring to see if there is going to be a site-walk visit? A: Yes, if requested. Q: We would like to submit questions in relation of the scope. See below: Is power washing required monthly, quarterly, or only as needed? Is re-striping expected annually, as needed, or included in the monthly service price? Should the contractor assume full re-striping each cycle or only touch-up of faded markings? How many weld repairs are anticipated annually? The SOW species Weld Repairs (each) how is a single repair defined (LF, location, or connection)? Will a pre-bid site visit be scheduled to assess current condition of the parking garage? A: Cleaning shall be conducted biannually, specifically post-winter season and pre-winter season. The scheduling will be coordinated with the selected contractor. The request for painting services is for once a year. It is anticipated that the coating will maintain its integrity for a minimum of one year; failure to do so will necessitate the contractor performing all applicable touch-up procedures at no additional cost. The scope of work entails repairing one of the connection joints between the panels, comprising ten pre-installed stainless steel plates arranged at designated intervals along the joint. After welding, the joint must be sealed with an approved silicone sealant to safeguard the plates from environmental damage; the proposed silicone product must be submitted for formal approval prior to application.
