Solicitation Announcement: Replacement of Office Furniture in the second floor of U.S.Embassy, Madrid, Spain The U.S. Embassy in Madrid intends to issue a solicitation for the replacement of office furniture in the second floor of Chancery building. The project will include the purchase and installation of new office furniture—such as workstations, storage cabinets, and panels—as well as the possible disassembly, removal, and disposal of existing modular furniture. Key Details: Contract Type: The U.S. Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable, responsible offeror. Award may be made based on initial offers without discussions. Performance Period: Details will be provided in the solicitation. Pre-Quotation Conference/Site Visit: A pre-quotation conference/site visit is planned; the date will be included in the solicitation. Registration Requirements: Offerors must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov to be eligible for contract consideration. No documents or additional information will be available until the solicitation is issued. Licensing Requirements: In accordance with DOSAR 652.242-73 AUTHORIZATION AND PERFORMANCE (AUG 1999), all contractors must possess the necessary permits and licenses to conduct business in Spain. Proof of these permits must be included in the offer. Submission Guidelines: Electronic Responses: Quotes must be submitted electronically before the response deadline.
