NAVFAC Solicitation No. : N4008526R0219, Design Bid Build - Decentralize Steam - Provide Natural Gas Fired Boilers at Buildings 23A, 43, 44, 49 at Naval Health Care New England (NHCNE) Newport, RI THIS ACTION IS RESERVED FOR DESIGN-BUILD (DB)/DESIGN-BID-BUILD (DBB), INDEFINITE DELIVERY/INDEFINITE QUANTITY (IDIQ) MULTIPLE AWARD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT (MACC) FOR FACILITIES IN THE NORTH AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY (AOR) TO INCLUDE CONNECTICUT, DELAWARE, MAINE, MASSACHUSETTS, NEW HAMPSHIRE, NEW JERSEY, NEW YORK, PENNSYLVANIA, RHODE ISLAND, AND VERMONT N40085-21-D-0052 Benaka Inc. N40085-21-D-0053 CCI Utility and Construction Services, LLC N40085-21-D-0054 Kunj Construction Corporation N40085-21-D-0055 Ocean Construction Services N40085-21-D-0056 PEM-Harkins Joint Venture N40085-21-D-0057 Tantara Corporation N40085-21-D-0066 J&J Contractors, Inc. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work includes removal of (4) facilities from the building A6 steam supply system. The (4) buildings being taken off of steam service (23A, 43, 44, and 49) shall have their steam to heating hotwater exchangers removed and natural gas boilers provided in their place. Building B23A shall also have its domestic hot water heaters replaced. Work includes the trenching and backfilling for the installation of gas piping to each of four buildings, restoration of paving due to gas piping installation, The contractor shall be responsible for connecting to the utility meter and provide gas distribution to the installed boilers.
