Description?
The Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO21), intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed Price, base plus four (4) option year (OY) contract for maintenance and repair of the Philips EPIQ CVx Ultrasound system at VA Pacific Islands Health Care System (VAPIHCS) located at 459 Patterson Road Honolulu, HI 96819. The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Philips North America, LLC has the proprietary rights to the equipment. Philips Healthcare Field Service Engineers (FSE) are OEM certified to provide parts and service compatible with the equipment. The FSEs are also the only individuals authorized to install the proprietary hardware for the equipment. The OEM will only guarantee work completed by these FSEs. Any interested parties shall provide a copy of the authorized service provider letter. The government intends to award the contract on 10/1/2026 to Philips North America, LLC 22100 Bothell Everett HWY Bothell, Washington 98021-8431; SAM UEI: T41NB3MDAPZ6 CAGE CODE: 8HEG5. The estimated Period of Performance will be 10/01/2026 09/30/2031. This synopsis announcement is being issued for information purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or request for competitive proposals. If a firm believes it is capable of meeting the Government's requirement, it may identify their interest and capability to the Contracting Officer within seven (7) calendar days of this publication by contacting Cynthia Diezel via email at Cynthia.diezel@va.gov. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. Those interested firms must indicate whether they are large, small, small-disadvantaged, 8(a) or woman owned business and whether they are U.S. or foreign owned. Respondents who submit proprietary data shall clearly mark the data with appropriate markings. The Government will not pay for any information submitted as a result of this synopsis. This synopsis shall not be construed as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. Responses are due no later than Friday, July 31, 2026, at 10:00AM Pacific Standard Time.
