The U.S. Department of Education has awarded a firm-fixed-price order to FultonSt1 LLC, dba dancker under GSA Multiple Award chedule Contract No. 47QSMS24D000K for furniture reconfiguration, relocation, transportation, and installation services associated with the relocation of personnel and office assets from the Lyndon B. Johnson Federal Building located at 400 Maryland Avenue SW, Washington, DC, to the Department's new facility located at 77 K Street NE, Washington, DC. The scope of work includes project management, design support, disassembly, transportation, reconfiguration, installation, and post-move furniture support services for existing Steelcase workstations, private offices, conference room furniture, marker boards, seating, monitor arms, and related furniture components. AUTHORITY: This award was issued pursuant to GSAM/R 538.7104-3(b)(ii), which permits restricting consideration when only one source is capable of providing the products or services required at the level of quality required because the products or services are unique or highly specialized. JUSTIFICATION: Dancker is the original supplier and installer of the Steelcase furniture systems included within this requirement. The existing furniture systems remain under manufacturer warranty and require specialized knowledge of the installed configurations, components, and system requirements. Dancker has completed relocation planning and furniture mapping activities associated with the Department's relocation effort and possesses unique qualifications necessary to preserve warranty coverage and support successful execution of the project within the required schedule.
