Overhaul of F100-PW-229 Augmentor Fuel Control and Augmentor Fuel Pump

Combined Synopsis/Solicitation IAW FAR 12.603 a combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only notice; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation is issued. The Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) located at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma intends to negotiate a contract containing Firm Fixed Price type Contract Line-Item Numbers for the acquisition of repair/overhaul services on the Augmentor Fuel Control and Pump (NSNs 2915013097888NZ & 2915013102141NZ, PNs 4071353 & 4070290, respectively) to support the F100-PW-229 Engine. This combined synopsis and solicitation is issued as Request for Proposal (RFP) FA8121-26-R-0007 and is a sole source requirement to Hamilton Sundstrand, Corp. (CAGE 73030). Small Business Set Aside: N/A Small Business Size Standard: 1,500 NAICS: 336412 PSC: J029 Classification Code: 28 ’ Engines, turbines & components This requirement is expected to result in a 1-year basic contract award and the inclusion of FAR clause 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, which may be used to extend the period of performance up to 6 additional months. Upon issuance of the combined synopsis and solicitation, all responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Each Offeror agrees to hold proposed prices firm for 120 days. Each Offeror agrees to furnish and deliver all items set forth in this solicitation subject to the terms and conditions specified herein. Availability of Funds: “Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date.
