NO SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED TO CONTRACT OPPORTUNITIES. PROCUREMENT TITLE: Richard Wolf Pirahna Laser Enucleation System with Morcellator INTENT TO AWARD: The Department of Veterans Affairs (NCO 19), 6162 S. Willow Drive, Greenwood Village, CO 80111, intends to award one (1) purchase order on a sole source basis, to Richard Wolf Medical Instruments Corporation for a Piranha Laser Enucleation System with Morcellator. BACKGROUND AND DESCRIPTION: The VHA Salt Lake City Medical Center (VHASLCMC),  located at 500 Foothill Drive, Salt Lake City, UT 84148 is purchasing Richard Wolf Piranha Laser Enucleation System with Morcellator. This unit will be used in laser enucleation of the prostate treatment for benign Prostatic Hyperplasia. The system includes laser resectoscope, offset Piranha scope and a tissue morcellator. NAICS: 339112  Surgical and Medical Equipment Manufacturer, 1,000 employees PSC: 6515 Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment, and Supplies. AUTHORITY: This procurement will be issued under the authority of RFO Part 12  Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed award upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. INTERESTED PARTIES: THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.  Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement as described in the attached Statement of Work no later than 12:00 PM Mountain Standard Time, Wednesday, August 26th, 2026.  Information received in response to this notice must clearly demonstrate the capability of meeting the Government s need as stated above.  Include any relevant information (specifications, cut sheets, brochures, capability statement, etc.) confirming the ability to supply the products and/or any services outlined in this notice. Responses to this notice are to be sent to eric.ayers@va.gov. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.  The Government is not responsible for any potential costs incurred from interested parties desiring to respond to this notice.Â
