Description?
Description is as follows: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21, located at 3801 Miranda Avenue, Palo Alto, California, 94304, in support of VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System (VASNHCS) at 6900 North Pecos Road, North Las Vegas, Nevada 89086.Removal and replacement of Twenty-two (22) ICU ceiling-mounted boom systems in the ICUs at the VASNHCS. Key tasks include: deinstallation of all current integrations, necessary renovations to ensure proper functionality for the new equipment, installation of new integrations, and final testing to ensure that all third-party systems are configured correctly and recognized. The existing ICU boom infrastructure was originally installed using Stryker tandem mounting plates and support structures. These systems have been engineered, validated, and load-rated for the current installation as well as future Stryker boom replacements. Selecting an alternative manufacturer would require an engineering evaluation to determine compatibility with the existing structural support system and mounting hardware. Any modification to this infrastructure would introduce additional validation requirements, installation complexity, and potential cost impacts.
