Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, MD intends to award a sole source, Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-17-G-0003 with Kratos Unmanned Aerial Systems, INC. (KUAS), 5381 Raley BLVD Sacramento CA, 95838 for the procurement of Mission Installation Kits for the SSAT BQM-177A and will have a delivery date up to 12 months. This procurement will include the following: a. Thirty (30) AN/DSQ-50A/INSTALLATION KIT, part number 8E236-101 b. Twenty-five (25) KIT, S-BAND,TM AFT/INSTALLATION KIT, part number 8E236-107 c. Forty (40) KIT,L-BAND,TM FWD/INSTALLATION KIT, part number 8E236-103 d. Forty (40) KIT,S-BAND,TM FWD/INSTALLATION KIT, part number 8E236-105 e. Three (3) ALE47 KIT/INSTALLATION KIT, part number 8U900-101 f. Thirty-five (35) DPN-90/INSTALLATION KIT, part number 8E235-103 g. Ten (10) MK-28 Mod 3 Flare IR AUG Install Kit, part number 8U000-101 h. Ten (10) RAM AN/DPT-2C and Steeran Install Kit, part number 8U014-101 i. Fifteen (15) CFE Radar Cross Section (-14.6dB) Install Kit, part number 8U020-101 j. Fifteen (15) CFE Radar Cross Section (-10dB) Install Kit, part number 8U030-101 This procurement will include the following options: k. Forty-one (41) Antenna POD Kit/INSTALLATION KIT, part number 8U110-TBD l. Fifteen (15) RCS (4.0 m2) Luneburg Lens Install Kit, part number 8E320-TBD m. Fifteen (15) CFE RCS (-3dB) Install Kit, part number 8E340-TBD The BQM-177A is a subsonic, recoverable, aerial target system that emulates Anti-Ship Cruise Missile (ASCM) and Surface-to-Air Missile (SAM) in support of weapons system test and evaluation. This synopsis is published for information purposes only. (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for the action described herein is 336411. GENERAL INFORMATION: KUAS is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the SSAT BQM-177A and is the only known qualified, responsible source that possesses the necessary knowledge, experience, and technical data required to fulfill the requirements specified. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. IMPORTANT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR INTERESTED PARTIES: This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. There are no commitments by the government to issue any solicitations, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the efforts mentioned above.
