Description
The intent of this invitation to bid (IFB) is to obtain the services of a qualified contractor for construction of sidewalks, ramps, crosswalks and associated improvements included in the Construction of Sterling Area Sidewalk Improvements project. The Construction of Sterling Area Sidewalk Improvements project is comprised of two (2) independent projects identified as 1) Sugarland Road sidewalk improvements and 2) Woodson Drive ramps/crosswalk in Loudoun County: - Sidewalk Project #1 Sugarland Road between the ADAMS Center and Norwood Place. in Sterling, Virginia - Sidewalk Project #2 Woodson Drive between the Loudoun County Line and Westminster Place, in Sterling, Virginia All sidewalks, ramps, crosswalks and associated improvements are per the approved plans contained herein and per Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) standards. The work included in this IFB is to be accepted by VDOT and incorporated into the VDOT maintained system of roads. This is a LUMP SUM CONTRACT with the unit prices provided on the bidders Schedule of Bid Items used to establish the bidder's lump sum total.The quantities and items provided by the County on the Schedule of Bid Items are estimates only and may be modified by bidders.
