Description

The interior historic entrance corridor, stairway, and second floor landing will be restored with best practices for historic preservation of the existing historic wood wainscoting, interior ornamental doorways, plaster ceilings and stone floor finishes. Additionally, the non historic building area of the building will be updated with new bathrooms and adjacent floor finishes. Other minor work in work areas include providing room identification, signage, lighting, and a repair to the historic building limestone threshold. The building is to remain occupied during construction, this will require coordination during construction for the abatement of hazardous materials, as well as during portions of construction such as wood refinishing, which will impact areas of the building outside of the scope of construction.
