Description
The City of Pueblo, on behalf of the Pueblo Food Project (PFP), is requesting proposals for the PFP Entrepreneur Development Program instructor and Food Economy Support position. The chosen consultant will be serving as the Class Instructor for the Entrepreneur Development Program. The work will include planning, attending and facilitating all classes, holding office hours, and implementing changes to the program based on previous evaluation data (further duties are listed below). Selected consultant will also be asked to assist Pueblo Food Project with other Food Economy activities such as the Sun Soil Water Ag Summit Pitch Competition and Food Business related activities. The consultant will acquire and utilize evaluations taken from previous cohorts, instructors, and speakers and will implement necessary changes as well as taking on the duties of instructing the Entrepreneur Development class, which will include assigning and grading homework, updating class tools, managing speakers and activities, and offering office hours. Consultant will also be responsible for assisting PFP in the evaluation and planning of the Sun Soil Water Ag Summit Pitch Competition. All required work assignments must be completed from October 2023 through October 2024. Entrepreneur Development classes will be held once a week January - May 2024. The Sun Soil Water Ag Summit will be held in February 2024. Other activities will continue throughout the year. This position will be paid for through a Colorado Health Foundation Grant.
