The City of Pittsburgh Office of Management & Budget, on behalf of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure, is soliciting bids for the removal of the Wilkesboro Avenue Pedestrian bridge. The structure spans over a ravine in the Brighton Heights neighborhood of the City of Pittsburgh. The bridge has been closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic for many years and is in Critical condition. The superstructure and all towers are to be completely removed.
