Description

The purpose and intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified firms for professional space planning services, including the development of space standards, providing conceptual space planning design, and providing preliminary cost estimates for a contiguous group of buildings located at 1400 Best Plaza Drive, Henrico, Virginia 23227. Services shall include a comprehensive analysis of the existing space currently occupied by Henrico County general government and Henrico County Public Schools administrative offices, including departments, agencies, or functions currently located in leased space. The analysis shall include a determination of current and future space needs. In conjunction with the existing space and space needs analysis, services shall also include a master plan for the phased occupancy of the 285,846 SF of vacant net rentable space (312,000 GSF) located in the three (3) contiguous buildings at 1400 Best Plaza Drive. The master plan shall also include analysis and recommendations for the use of existing County office space that will be vacated as a result of the phased occupancy of the 1400 Best Plaza Drive property, including cost estimates for the phased occupancy of vacated properties.
