The County of Sacramento is requesting bio-hazardous waste cleanup and disposal (trauma scene cleanup, sharp needle recovery, etc.) as required by the Sac DOT, Sheriff’s Department, Regional Parks, and other departments on an as-needed basis. Past bio-hazardous waste cleanup and disposal services for the County have included mold remediation, sewage remediation, water damage restoration, mitigation of blood spills, and removal of various animal parts. The estimated Countywide annual spend for this service is $150,000.
